Currently we are now "catching up" on those animals who are over due their vaccines and these are a priority over those who are still up to date with their booster. Please contact us at the practice to discuss booking your pet in for thier vaccine.

These prices include admission, general anaesthetic, surgery, a 2 to 5 day post-operative check-up if needed and routine medications, such an antibiotic and a painkillers injection.

Please Note: Older pets, dogs over 30kg bodyweight, overweight pets, pets that are unwell, pregnant females and males with abnormal testicles will be more expensive to neuter. The vet or nurse can advise you about any extra costs.
Some animals may require blood tests before anaesthesia, intravenous fluid infusions, additional surgery or extra medication. These will incur an additional cost.
Your pet undergoing routine neutering under the age of 9m, will recieve a pain relief injection which is included in the fee. Some pets require extra pain relief to be administered at home and there will be an extra fee associated with this , if required. Please discuss this with the nurse at the time of admission.

Worm treatments should be given at least 4 times a year.
Get your wormer from the vet to be sure that it’s an up-to-date, safe and effective medication.

“Spot-On” wormers are available for cats that are difficult to give tablets to. We will have the weight of your pet on record so will be able to prescribe the correct tablet for your pet’s size when you phone.
