As we all know from hearing about advances in human medicine, there are constant improvements in disease diagnosis and treatments. We are no different in the veterinary profession and here at Daisy Street, we want to be able to provide the best and most up to date diagnostics that we are able.
So, to provide you, our clients, with the most up-to-date equipment, John and Sam have recently purchased and installed some very exciting, state of the art diagnostic equipment to help us diagnose and treat your pets.
This machine is used routinely when ever we want to check on the function of organs in your pets body. It can help us determine how your pets liver or kidneys are working as well as providing us with many other important pieces of information. It's fast, compact and very accurate and hopefully will help us provide you with quick answers when we are trying to diagnose what is wrong.
This uses Smart SoftwareSM, which automates all maintenance procedures.
Each blood sample is analysed using a combination of Laser, Impedance and Hb LED technology. During cellular analysis, impedance is used for counting and sizing each cell, while “State of the Art” Laser technology is used for intracellular complexity and lobularity measurements - All very complex stuff, but it is providing us with the extremely accurate analysis of the cells in your dogs blood stream.
Urinalysis (Checking your pets urine sample) is an important tool in disease detection, as well as monitoring and screening your pets health. Abnormalities can be indicative of disease of the urinary system as well as other organ systems, including Liver Function, Diabetes and Urine Infections.
It can help provide rapid information about renal (kidney) disease and can give us information on your pets Urine Protein:Creatinine Ratio (UPC ratio) in less than 2 minutes - it all helps us give you more information on your pets health and future care.
