Daisy Street Vets Opening Times

Always Open Monday to Friday 8.30 - 4.30. Open most Mondays and Fridays until 6.00pm open some Saturdays (Ring to make sure we are open if you want to come late on Monday or Friday or Saturday. Or see Google). Closed Bank Holidays. 

Following on from the  Covid-19 restrictions which resulted in changes to appointment length and availability, and due to staffing (only 2 vets at the moment, John and Samantha) we have had to reduce our opening hours.

Our core opening hours are Monday to Friday, until 4.30pm. We aim to stay open until 6pm on Monday and Friday when we can, and open some Saturdays when we can. The best thing to do is to ring the surgery for opening hours. Our opening hours are more accurately displayed on Google.

Daisy Street Vets open in Blackburn:

Core opening hours 8.30 - 4.30 Monday to Friday. Most Mondays and Fridays open until 6pm.

Tuesday	8.30am – 4.30pm
Wednesday	8.30am – 4.30pm
Thursday	8.30am – 4.30pm
Friday	8.30am – 6.00pm
Saturday	We are currently only opening some Saturdays.  Please contact the surgery (or look on Google) to see which Saturdays are open for consultations. Emergencies will be seen at Armac, Bury, as per out of hours.

Reception is open for telephone enquires, sales and prescriptions throughout the above times.

Emergencies will be seen at any time.

During vet opening times please phone 1st to discuss if you need to come to the practice and  to tell us you are on your way, and to also get advice about first aid or how to transport your pet.

Out-of-Hours Emergency Service

We provide a 24 hour emergency service on 01254 53622. Outside of our normal practice hours an answering machine will tell you how to contact the vet on duty.

Out-of-hours calls are handled by Armac Emergency Services, Bury.

Armac takes just 25 to 35 minutes from our practice by car, route and traffic dependant.

• We pay Armac to take your calls and be on duty for you all year round. Telephone advice is free 24/7.
• You pay Armac only when you need to use their services, and this is claimable on your pet’s health insurance (exclusions may apply).
