Our New Cat Friendly Waiting Area

We are continually looking for ways in which we can increase our patients comfort and well-being whilst visiting our practice. To help our feline patients feel less anxious we have recently partitioned our large reception area into dog and cat friendly zones.

Cats generally feel less fearful when placed above ground level away from potential predators so we have provided multi-level cat basket parking bays. Some more sensitive cats prefer to hide away, so we have blankets which you can use to cover your cat's basket while you wait.!cid_b32a24a7-580f-49e5-b9a2-76cf9cc5f8d2@eurprd07_prod_outlook

Our cat friendly zone has an array of toys, collars, life-stage and prescription diets as well as health and hygiene products for you to view and purchase, or you may prefer to settle down and read one of our cat magazines.!cid_a37475b1-0007-4381-ac7b-cfca450e3c87@eurprd07_prod_outlook!cid_a37475b1-0007-4381-ac7b-cfca450e3c87@eurprd07_prod_outlook

One of our Registered Veterinary Nurses, Emily is currently undertaking a 'Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional' course with the ISFM which, will hopefully bring about more cat friendly changes.

The new reception areas have already received lots of positive comments from our clients, hopefully our furry friends agree too.
