We would like to reassure you that our prices are reflective of the additional time and attention we allocate to these very sensitive appointments; euthanasia is never a quick or simple procedure and we would never want owners or our patients to feel rushed during this very important end of life service.
Although more than our standard consultation price our euthanasia prices remain very competitive with those offering similar services in the Blackburn area. I was worried that our charges were too high after I read your comment so we rang round all the other practices in town and found that we are one of the cheapest, the average price was £97 with one practice charging £125. You are welcome to contact us if you wish to discuss anything further and hope that you found a service which suited your needs at this difficult time.

Took my budgie Teddy to see Sam today. The second time this little bird has been to the vet.
As usual excellent treatment, bird not used to be handed, expertly checked over with no drama.
Anyone needing a vet for your Budgie look no further.

Our senior family dog Bradley (15 years) recently fell very ill whilst at home. We were unable to get him to a vet surgery due to him being so poorly and due in part to his size. After ringing round several vet surgeries for help and having no luck, we rang Daisy Street. I only wish we'd have rang them sooner! The ladies I spoke with on the phone were both lovely. Within an hour John was out to treat our Bradley. Sadly he had to be put to sleep but John and team ensured this was a comfortable process for all and treated our dog with dignity and care. This made the situation that little bit easier to handle, especially for my Mum who was understandably heartbroken to lose her shadow!

You're an incredible team and we can't thank you enough.

John treated two of my ducks for bumble foot over several weeks, one of which had to have one of her toes amputated. I was very impressed with the amount of care he and the other staff took over them. They were both released back onto the canal yesterday and are very happy to be back with the rest of the pack. Many thanks to you all.

Took my hognose snake and john saw her. We had an xray to which thought was blockage he was so helpful with advice for home care but sadly mrs piggy didnt make it through the night. John was loverly and did a postmortam on her and found she had a cyst attached to her uterus. I cant fault the service at all from john i could see true emotion of upset in him which most vets u dont see that. Also like to thank the other staff for their careing approach . Thank you so much for what you did. Defo bring your reptiles, animals here xx

Website response: Yes it was really sad. Unfortunately no matter how hard we try, some animals don’t make it. This negatively impacts on us emotionally, especially when it is unexpected. Thank you for trying so hard with Miss Piggy and your positive comments on google. John.
