Two's Company

Ferrets are social animals and naturally live in groups, commonly referred to as a "business". They are happiest in company and can be kept in 2's or 3's, or even larger groups eg. 10-15.

Fights may occur occasionally between un-neutered males.

If you have a single ferret it is important that you give him/her lots of interaction and play stimulation.
